Vehicle Services

At Al's Automotive & Tire, we follow your vehicle manufacturer's recommendations. When you come in for service, we check all your fluids and perform a visual inspection of the most common wear items like belts, hoses and tires. If a maintenance service is suggested based on the condition of the fluid or mileage or age of your vehicle, our service advisors will explain what each maintenance service includes and why it is important for the health of your vehicle. We know unexpected automotive repairs can cause unwanted financial stress. Our staff will work with you to prioritize your service needs according to your budget. In addition, we offer a Preferred Customer Program with 6 months no interest financing, allowing you to get the necessary repairs completed.

Al's Automotive & Tire is part of the Bosch Service network, a collection of the top independent repair centers, servicing gasoline, diesel and hybrid-driven vehicles. Alignment
With an alignment service at Al’s Automotive & Tire, we measure each wheel’s alignment to see where they are relative to factory specifications. While we have the vehicle on the alignment rack, we inspect the tires for wear as well as the suspension and steering components for damage or wear – things that can contribute to alignment problems

Brake Service
With any brake service at Al's Automotive & Tire, we inspect all the brake lines taht run from the bake master cylinder to each tire. We ecamine the brake pads for over heating, uneven wear and cracks or if they are worn to point that the metal brads are showing through. We examine each rotor or drum thile the tires are removed to check for uneven wear from breaking. If there are deep groves, or if the surface has uneven or wraped feel to it they need to be turned or replaced. We also measure the rotor or drum to ensure there is enough metal left to resurface the item and maintain minimum safety thickness.

DOT Inspections
Vehicle Inspections and truck maintenance can help you control costs and keep drivers safe on the road. A properly executed vehicle inspection can help your drivers:
  • Discover unsafe conditions before they cause accidents or crashes
  • Find mechanical problems before they lead to costly breakdowns
  • Avoid being placed out of service during a roadside DOT inspection, or being subject to infractions and fines
Understanding critical information about performing a vehicle inspection, filling out a vehicle inspection report, and the consequences of a roadside DOT inspection, helps protect your equipment, your drivers, and your organization's reputation.
